Eric Clapton diagnosed with Covid

ZEUS 24 Newsline — Musician Eric Clapton, a noted critic of coronavirus vaccines and restrictions imposed by governments during the pandemic, has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result of the positive test he has canceled two upcoming shows in Europe.

Clapton, aged 77, tested positive for the virus after his concert at the Royal Albert Hall on the 8th of May.

A statement issued by Clapton’s management states that “Eric is also anxious to avoid passing on any infection to any of his band, crew, promoters, their staff and of course, the fans.” It is said that the artist is hopeful to resume the tour starting with two concerts on the 20th of May.

The cancelled shows, scheduled for Zurich on Tuesday and Milan on Wednesday will be rescheduled.
